Astro Pi Mission Zero 2026
Your code in space!
Reopen a SAVED program
The Astro Pi Mission Zero project lets you submit code that will run on the International Space Station on two specially adapted Raspberry Pi computers. Here's what you'll need to take part:
- A team name that has 8 characters or fewer (even if you're entering as a single coder)
- The Glasgow Libraries classroom code for saving and submitting your code - ask one of the volunteer mentors to help you with this bit
- Step by Step instructions
- A printable worksheet for creating your own 8 x 8 pixel image that will remind astronauts of nature on Earth or in space (you could send your pet to space as a pixel-art image!)
- You can also use this online pixel image editor (set the width to 8 and the height to 8 in the New Drawing popup that appears).
- You might want to read about some of the Astro Pi's other sensors and how to use them.
